Kara G. Jenkins is the president of Kara G. Jenkins Law, P.C. Ms. Jenkins received her J.D. from Vermont Law School in 2007 and her B.A. from Saint Vincent College in 2003. During law school, Ms. Jenkins served as a Student Bar Association Ambassador, was a member of the Moot Court Advisory Board, and competed in the 2007 National Environmental Moot Court competition.
After graduating law school, Ms. Jenkins returned to Virginia to practice law. She was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2008, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia in 2010, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. She has experience in various practice areas such as domestic law, construction law, landlord/tenant actions, estate administration, debt collection, and bankruptcy. She has appeared in Virginia juvenile and domestic relations district courts, general district courts, circuit courts, and the Virginia Supreme Court. She is a qualified guardian ad litem for children and is also a member of the Virginia State Bar Family Law Section. She is a member of the Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce.
