Jennifer L. Soper is a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia Law School. She has practiced family law in St. Joseph for over 10 years. From 2003 to 2010, she was the Managing Attorney of the St. Joseph office of Legal Aid of Western Missouri. In addition to practicing law, since 2002 she has been an Adjunct Professor in the Legal Studies Department of Missouri Western State University where she teaches family law. She resides in St. Joseph with her two children. Ms. Soper serves on the boards of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater St. Joseph, the Ladies Union Benevolent Association (Noyes Home) and the Cathedral Early Childhood Center. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of St. Joseph and she was an active member from 2002-2012. She is a 2004 graduate of Leadership St. Joseph and the 2010 recipient of the YWCA Women of Excellence Emerging Leader Award.
