Thomas Janczewski is an attorney in the Milwaukee office and a member of the Litigation Practice Group.
Mr. Janczewski's practice is concentrated in federal contracting law. Mr. Janczewski has represented federal contractors of all sizes and needs-from Small Business Administration 8(a) small disadvantaged business concerns, to Alaska Native Corporations, to large federal contractors with international reach.
As part of his practice, Mr. Janczewski represents federal contractors in:
· Bid protests before the Government Accountability Office and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
· Federal court actions arising under the Miller Act.
· Contract performance disputes with federal agencies.
Mr. Janczewski assists and advises clients on all aspects of federal contracting, including:
· Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
· The Competition in Contracting Act.
· The Contract Disputes Act.
· The False Claims Act.
· The Miller Act.
· The Prompt Payment Act.
· The Freedom of Information Act.
· Security clearance regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual.
· Small Business Administration Regulations, including the 8(a) program and mentor-protege relationships.
Mr. Janczewski also has an active general commercial litigation practice with substantial experience in both state and federal court handling a broad range of matters including commercial torts, contract disputes, false advertising, trade secrets, class action, products liability, and insurance. Mr. Janczewski has argued dispositive motions, and otherwise litigated cases for clients in both federal and state court.
