Renuka Jain was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1987. In 2009, Ms. Jain opened an office in Los Angeles, California where she practices as the Law Offices of Renuka V. Jain.

In a career that spans twenty-two years, Ms. Jain has established a reputation as a fierce and tenacious litigator. Ms. Jain's previous work experience includes stints as the Chief of the Federal Trial Division of the Harris County Attorney's Office and as an Assistant Attorney General and Team Lead on the Vioxx litigation for the Texas State Attorney General.

Ms. Jain has extensive experience in civil litigation matters having tried numerous civil rights, employment, personal injury, and business litigation cases. Ms. Jain was board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law in 1995 and has been re-certified continuously since that date. In 1998, Ms. Jain took and passed the board certification exam in Labor & Employment Law, a certification that she has maintained. To expand her knowledge base in alternate dispute resolution techniques, Ms. Jain completed basic mediation training at the A. A. White Dispute Resolution Institute at the University of Houston, securities arbitration training through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and Labor Arbitration training through the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Ms. Jain has served as an arbitrator on securities matters and mediated dozens of cases.

Ms. Jain is highly selective in case selection, which allows her to deliver clients services of the highest possible standard. She prides herself on the relationships that she builds with her clients based on prompt personal attention. As a result, Ms. Jain's practice has been built on the confidence her clients have placed in her through their referrals, as well as on the referrals she receives from judges and other lawyers, including former adversaries.

With more than twenty-two years of experience as an attorney, Ms. Jain is able to handle the most complex legal matters. It is also Ms. Jain's practice to handle the appeals of all her cases. In addition to extensive federal and state court trial experience, Ms. Jain has argued cases before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Texas appellate courts, and the Texas Supreme Court. Ms. Jain's most recent winning argument to the Texas Supreme Court, Davis v. Fisk Electric, revised jury selection procedure in civil cases in Texas. The Court's opinion in Davis v. Fisk Electric is now required reading for trial lawyers in Texas.

In 2008, Ms. Jain was honored by the State Bar of Texas for her contributions and awarded the Frances Campbell Advocacy Award. This award is one of the three Founders' Awards given annually by the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Jain has co-chaired both the Houston Bar Association's Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession Committee and the Fee Dispute Committee, each for two consecutive terms.
