Jantzen, Stephen L.

Michele L. Jakubs joined Zashin & Rich Co., L.P.A. in 2001. At Zashin & Rich, Michele’s practice areas include labor relations, equal employment opportunity, employment discrimination and all other employment related torts. Michele works extensively with the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage and hour laws. Michele’s practice also includes developing employment litigation prevention strategies through client guidance, policy development and training. Michele is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association (“OSBA”) as a Specialist in Labor and Employment law.

Prior to joining Zashin & Rich, Michele practiced in the areas of insurance coverage and insurance defense litigation. She defended companies based upon an analysis of policy language and the nature of the claim. She also defended actions involving a variety of statutory and common law tort claims.

Michele earned her B.S. from the Ohio State University. She earned her law degree (J.D.) from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, magna cum laude. Michele is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations.
