Paul Jacobson has extensive experience in public finance and working with localities to develop financing strategies and in economic development issues. His practice is concentrated in representing a number of counties, cities, towns and special purpose authorities in local government, municipal finance, environmental and real estate matters.
Paul's finance experience includes general obligation, lease revenue, certificate of participation and lease purchase borrowings on a tax-exempt basis, as well as tax exempt and taxable development financing.

Before joining the firm, Paul was associated with the Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia, where he worked on legal and policy issues with a wide variety of local, regional and state agencies.
