Randall S. Jackson, Jr. is an Associate with Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all phases of the firm's practice. His expertise is concentrated in the areas of chemical, biotech, and mechanical technologies. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1998, the Kentucky Bar in 1999, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also is admitted before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Randy joined the firm in 2004.
He graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1994 from Saint Louis University, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree and a Certificate in Health Law from Saint Louis University School of Law in 1998. Prior to receiving his law degree, Randy worked as an analytical chemist at a pharmaceutical testing company in Saint Louis, Missouri. In 2003, he graduated cum laude with an M.S. in Chemistry (emphasis in biochemistry) from the University of Cincinnati.
He is an active member of the American, Ohio, and Cincinnati Bar Associations, as well as the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Based on voting by his peers, he was named a Leading Lawyer in the specialty of Biotech Law by Cincy Business Magazine. Randy resides in Cincinnati with his wife Gina.
