Bradley W. Small is a shareholder at Mathis, Marifian & Richter (MM&R), who focuses his practice in estate planning, banking law, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, real estate law and wills and trusts.
For the past 30 years, Brad has represented banks and other financial institutions and handled probate, real estate and commercial work. Since joining MM&R in 2004, he has expanded the firm's banking and finance capabilities.
Before joining MM&R, Brad represented a wide range of financial clients at a Nashville, Illinois-based law firm. From 1993 to 2004, he served as president of an independent community bank in Southern Illinois, and he acted as director and audit chair of the St. Louis Federal Reserve from 2001 to 2004. He has also written numerous articles relating to mortgage foreclosures and procedures in Illinois in the Commercial, Banking and Bankruptcy Law Newsletter and is a popular speaker at economic conferences throughout Illinois, including the Illinois State Bar Association's (ISBA) Commercial, Banking and Bankruptcy Law Section and Estate Planning Section.
Besides practicing law in MM&R's Belleville office, Brad also actively practices in Nashville, Illinois, and throughout Southern Illinois.
