Founding partner of Slaten law, Clifton E. Slaten, was born in Cullman, AL on January 12, 1956. He was admitted to the Texas bar in 1987, the Alabama bar in 1990, the Tennessee bar in 2005, and the Georgia bar in 2008. He received his BBA with honors from the University of Montevallo in 1978, his J.D. from the University of Alabama in 1987, and his LL.M. in dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University in 2010. Cliff maintains memberships in the State Bar of Texas, the Alabama State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association. Cliff concentrates his practice in financial services litigation, product liability, toxic tort litigation, pest control litigation, mental health, construction defect, premises liability litigation, transportation litigation, and bed bug litigation.
