Seth Huttner is an associate in the Litigation Department and a member of the Antitrust and Consumer Protection, Class Actions, Insurance, and Pharmaceutical and Product Liability Practice Groups. Seth's practice focuses on commercial and class action litigation including franchise, insurance and health care disputes, breaches of contract and civil fraud, and a particular emphasis on antitrust, consumer protection and unfair business practice cases. Seth also represents clients responding to Federal Trade Commission and State Attorneys General antitrust and consumer protection investigations, and defends suits in both state and federal courts brought by government enforcers. In addition to his litigation practice, Seth counsels trade associations, distributors, and other businesses on compliance with the antitrust laws. Seth maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing immigration clients seeking asylum in the United States, obtaining asylum for a family of three from Colombia in 2008.
Prior to joining Wiggin and Dana, Seth served as a law clerk to Judge Roger W. Titus of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and for Judge Thomas J. Meskill of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Seth graduated cum laude from Lafayette College with a B.A. in Economics & Business, and received his J.D. with highest honors from the George Washington University Law School where he served as Articles Editor of the George Washington University Law Review.
