In the employment law area, Mr. Husch represents employers in administrative proceedings, litigation, mediation and arbitration, involving noncompetition and confidentiality agreements, trade secret misappropriation, wage claims, wrongful termination claims, and claims of employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Mr. Husch also advises employers on a wide variety of labor and employment issues under state and federal law.
In the insurance law area, Mr. Husch renders opinions on insurance coverage questions and represents insurers in declaratory judgment actions and lawsuits involving coverage disputes and bad faith claims. He also frequently defends insureds in personal injury, property damage and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Husch is a frequent speaker on a wide variety of employment law topics, such as employment, noncompetition and confidentiality agreements, trade secrets, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Idaho Claims for Wages Law, the Idaho Alcohol and Drug-free Workplace Act, and developments in state and federal employment law. He has also served as a mediator in personal injury cases and is a member of the United States District Court Panel of approved mediators for civil litigation. Prior to joining Moffatt Thomas in 1980, Mr. Husch served as a law clerk to the Honorable William C. Stuart, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Idaho.
Mr. Husch received his undergraduate degree from Drake University and graduated, with honors, from Drake University School of Law in 1978. After serving as a law clerk to the Honorable William C. Stuart, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, Mr. Husch joined Moffatt Thomas in 1980. He is a shareholder in the firm.
