Linda Genero Sklaren has more than 20 years of experience in general commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, appeals and claims presentation, specializing in the areas of construction, environmental law, business disputes, transportation and shipping. She has represented a wide variety of clients, including project owners, engineers, architects, contractors, construction managers, foreign and domestic corporations, domestic and international carriers, an oil company, banks, and investment banking institutions. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in class actions and acted as lead Defense and Liaison Counsel for more than seventy-five individuals, in a multi-district securities fraud action in federal district court, the Southern District of New York. Ms. Sklaren regularly advises clients on general business matters, litigation avoidance, civil discovery issues, employment, and drafts and negotiates contracts primarily relating to construction projects.
