Charles G. Skupin was born in 1947, and raised in Detroit, Michigan. In 1966, the Vietnam War Era, he volunteered and enlisted in the United States Navy. During his enlistment he achieved the rank of Petty Officer, Second Class and was honorably discharged in 1970.
Chuck attended Lawrence Institute of Technology in 1970 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1974. In 1975 he attended the University of Detroit Law School and graduated in 1978.
Mr. Skupin was admitted to the Michigan Bar Association in 1978. He is admitted for practice in the U.S. District Federal Courts including the Eastern, Western, and Northern Districts of Michigan.

Mr. Skupin dedicates his practice soley to personal injury. His largest trial verdict was in a consolidated case against the State of Michigan. The verdict for all victims exceeded three million dollars.
Mr. Skupin has been the lead or participating attorney in settling a number of cases for more than two million dollars. More recently he has been resolving a case for more than one million dollars, including:
Mr. Skupin has a reputation for skill, competency, and integrity. He has served as a case evaluator for Circuit Courts in Wayne County, Oakland County, Alcona County, Montmorency County and Alpena County. Mr. Skupin has participated in more than 100 facilitations/mediations. He received a certification from the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and currently serves as a Facilitator. He is a licensed pilot with an instrument rating.
His professional memberships include the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Association of Justice, the American Association of Justice, and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
