Jake is a trial lawyer whose practice includes commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and employment litigation.
Professional Qualifications
Jake received his J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2009. During law school, he won the Cheney/Metzger Legal Writing Competition, received the CALI Award in Legal Writing, and appeared on the Dean's List. During the summer of 2007, he externed for a magistrate in the Uganda Courts of Judicature and completed the Global Justice Advocacy Program at the Mandela Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prior to law school, Jake worked as a political consultant in Seattle, interned for a United States Senator, and was a researcher for a Member of Scottish Parliament.
Jake received his B.A., cum laude, in Business Administration from Washington State University, where he was a student in the Honors College. As an undergraduate, Jake studied politics at the University of Edinburgh Institute of Governance and later served as the Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for the Associated Students of WSU. He was also a founding member of the WSU chapter of the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity.
