Hunt, Jeremy Philip

Ms. Singer practices in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts probate, real estate transactions and municipal violations litigation at Garofalo Law Group.

Ms. Singer earned her Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a Certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution in May 2011. She was a member of the Chicago-Kent Moot Court Honor Society and participated and placed in several National Moot Court competitions. She earned the CALI award in International Business Transactions and served as Treasurer of the Hispanic Latino Law Student Association. She was also an associate editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law, where she published an article on protection of cultural heritage in post-war Iraq.

During law school, Ms. Singer worked at the Criminal Defense, Tax, and Alternative Dispute Resolution clinics at the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent. At Tax clinic, she personally handled a case load of ten clients who had disputes with the IRS and brought those cases to a favorable resolution through negotiation and settlement. In addition, as a licensed mediator, she helped litigants settle their disputes through pre-trial mediation. Ms. Singer also interned at the Illinois Disability Rights Bureau where she researched medical repatriation and helped prepare cases against disability rights violators.

Ms. Singer completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University and graduated Cum Laude in May 2007. In 2005, she studied abroad in Spain and attended the Cannes Film Festival in 2006 as an intern for an entertainment attorney representing investors. Ms. Singer is a native Spanish speaker and continues to leverage her language skills and her legal training to successfully represent her clients' interests.
