Kelley Huff was born in Wilmington, Delaware in 1980. She attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute, obtaining a B.A. degree in political science in 2002. She studied law at the Widener University School of Law and received her J.D. in 2007.
While in law school, Ms. Huff served as Vice President of the Moot Court Honor Society and Secretary of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund. She received the Order of Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy. Ms. Huff also externed for the Office of the District Attorney of Chester County in Pennsylvania where she prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases.
Following law school, from 2007 to 2008, Ms. Huff served as a law clerk to The Honorable Jan R. Jurden of the Superior Court of the State of Delaware. From 2008 to 2009, she served as a law clerk to The Honorable Calvin L. Scott, Jr. of the Superior Court of the State of Delaware. Ms. Huff is a member of The Richard S. Rodney Inn of Courts, the American Bar Association and the Delaware Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
