Zev is an associate in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is a member of the Business Litigation Section and Energy Law Practice Group, and practices principally in the areas of:
Prior to law school, Zev served as a legislative assistant to U.S. Senator Bob Graham, where he advised the senator on issues related to energy, agriculture, the environment and Native Americans. Zev's efforts were particularly focused on furthering Senator Graham's priorities relating to his seats on the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, as well as the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. While in Washington, Zev worked on a number of legislative items, including an omnibus energy bill, the Water Resources Development Act and the Water Infrastructure Investment Act. Zev also helped further the senator's interests regarding nuclear power, the implementation of the USDA's Country of Origin Labeling Program, the specialty crop industry, the Endangered Species Act, National Park and Wildlife Refuge issues, Everglades restoration, and forest land preservation.
