Tamara Huckert was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in 2006, after she graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law. As an Associate at Hamilton Moon Stephens, she gained a great deal of experience in employment law, real estate, and general litigation cases.
Tamara joined Meg when she founded Maloney Law & Associates, PLLC in 2008. Her practice focuses on employment counseling, negotiation, and litigation, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, sexual harassment, FMLA, whistleblower, and wage and hour issues, and general litigation matters. She frequently advises clients regarding employment, non-compete, separation, and severance agreements.
Tamara is active in the Charlotte Women's Bar and is currently a CWB Board Member and a Co-Chair for the Programs Committee. She was previously active on the Nominating and Public Service Committees, where she organized the CWB's participation in the 2010 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Tamara is also currently a member of the North Carolina Bar Association's Lawyer Effectiveness and Quality of Life Committee.
She is a North Dakota native, who now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and two teenage children. She enjoys spending time with her family, including attending soccer games, music concerts, and camping.
