Chetammia Holmes received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish, from the University of Texas at Arlington. Chetammia earned a J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
During her time at SMU, Chetammia served as a Guardian Ad Litem, for underprivileged children, and was thereafter appointed as Chief Justice of the SMU Child Advocacy Clinic. She developed her oral advocacy skills while competing on several SMU Mock Trial Teams. Chetammia received numerous accolades, including being recognized as a master advocate. She also served as a member of the SMU Moot Court Board.
Before accepting an associate position at The Webb Family Law Firm, Chetammia pursued a clerkship with the Family District Courts and volunteered with the Dallas District Attorney’s Office, Family Violence Unit. She is an author of various articles relating to family law.
