Lorraine Sherman graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in May 1998. During her last year of law school she worked for a local family law attorney and as a research assistant for a human rights law professor.
Upon graduation and after receiving her law license, Ms. Sherman continued to work for a local family law attorney until she opened her own law office in September 1999.
75% of her practice is Family Law and she has handled complex cases involving child kidnapping, wasting of marital assets, appeals, modifications, domestic violence, alimony and time sharing/custody. 25% of her practice is criminal defense including drug offenses, theft offenses, VOP's, and all batteries.
Ms. Sherman attended law school late in life, after raising her 4 children. She is the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes to read, garden and travel.
