Robert D. Sherlock is Of Counsel to the firm. His practice focuses on Civil False Claims Act cases and health care fraud. He is an experienced health care attorney, investigator, compliance auditor, and litigator. Robert previously spent over 18 years in a wide range of health care administrative positions, including serving as the Director of Health Sciences Center Compliance for a major university health care system, learning the health care industry from the "inside out". He has served as General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer for hospitals and health care entities. His practice has also included multi-million dollar verdicts in commercial litigation, lender-liability cases, breach of fiduciary duty cases, and a variety of false claims, anti-kickback and Stark Law violations, and medical malpractice.

While attending the University of Utah Law School, Robert graduated in the top 3% of his class and was Editor-In-Chief of the Utah Law Review.  He also has a Masters' Degree in Public Administration specializing in Health Care Administration, and spent five years as a full-time Collegiate Professor for University of Maryland University College, teaching Health Care Administration and Law in its Masters Degree programs.
