Joy Hodge focuses her practice on all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including race, gender, age and disability discrimination, and wage and hour disputes. Joy has experience in single plaintiff, multiplaintiff, class action, and collective action cases arising under the ADEA, Title VII, and the FLSA and represents clients before state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies.
Joy's practice also includes counseling clients to solve performance issues and leave issues. She regularly provides counseling on compliance with various federal and state laws, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. In addition, she provides guidance to clients on employee policies.
Joy is active in the legal community, including memberships in the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys. Joy also volunteers as a mentor in the Sister to Sister program and is a member of the associate board of directors for the YWCA of Greater Atlanta.
