Andrew J. Hippert

Attorney Andrew J. Hippert was born and raised in New Ulm, Minnesota.  Following his graduation from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School, Andrew attended the University of Minnesota-Morris and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History.  He then attended law school at the University of Minnesota, where he was part of its National Moot Court program and also volunteered for several non-profit legal organizations.  After receiving his J.D. degree from the U of M law school, Andrew began his practice as an attorney with Babcock, Neilson, Mannella, Klint P.L.L.P and later began practicing with Midwest Disability.  Andrew has represented clients in a variety of Social Security related matters, including, but not limited to representing clients at Social Security administrative hearings; representing clients at the Social Security Appeals Council;   and appealing Social Security Disability denials to the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.  In addition to his Social Security practice, Andrew has also represented clients in matters relating to title insurance claims, mechanic’s lien foreclosure actions, zoning and land use disputes, mortgage foreclosures and redemptions, landlord/tenant disputes, foreclosed association liens, conducted redemptions from mortgage foreclosures, and drafted documents for common interest communities.  Further, Andrew has also worked on Workers’ Compensation claims and Long Term/Short Term Disability claim denials. Andrew has authored legal briefs for two cases decided by the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where the Court affirmed favorable district court decision:

Andrew has been a resident of Golden Valley, MN since 2007.  In his spare time, Andrew enjoys reading, movies, sports, and staying physically active.
