Paul Sewell is a partner in the law firm of Krage & Janvey, lip. Mr. Sewell specializes in commercial law representing the interests of his clients who range from small business entrepreneurs to multimillion dollar entities. Mr. Sewell's expertise in commercial transactions includes; general counsel and day-to-day business operations; negotiating terms and conditions of sale under the Uniform Commercial Code; business acquisitions, structure, and exit planning strategies; mergers and acquisitions; real estate matters, including purchases and sales of golf courses, income producing and other commercial properties, commercial and retail leases, and property tax protests; oil and gas transactions; transportation and trucking company representation, and commercial lending transactions.
Mr. Sewell has been instrumental in the transfer of business ownerships and participated in complex financing structures to secure debt; participated in overseas lending transactions; negotiated and documented accounts receivable financing transactions on both the borrower and lender sides of the transaction; and negotiated, documented, and performed title work on real estate transactions both within and outside of the State of Texas.
Mr. Sewell graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (B.B.A. 1993) with a degree in marketing. He graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University School of Law in 1996 (J.D. 1996). While at Baylor Law School, Mr. Sewell served two terms as Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review. Mr. Sewell has also authored and co-authored three published Law Review articles:
