Erica is a member of the Insurance Coverage / Bad Faith practice group, where the focus of her practice is in providing insurers with defense counsel in bad faith claims and insurance coverage disputes brought against them.
In 1998 Erica graduated cum laude from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she was the recipient of the University's Excellence in Writing Award chosen and presented by the faculty to a single member of the graduating class. Prior to enrolling in law school Erica held a writing and editing internship with two Manhattan-based periodicals and undertook post-baccalaureate graduate courses at the University of Scranton.
Erica then attended Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where she was awarded the Law Faculty Scholarship, earning her J.D. in 2004. During her years at Temple, Erica was recognized for Best Appellate Brief and Outstanding Appellate Oral Argument. She also served as a summer intern for the Honorable Richard P. Conaboy in the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Erica also spent one semester studying international law in London, England and was a member of the International Law Society and Outlaw.
Following law school, Erica spent five years as an attorney working for a large law firm in their Philadelphia office, where her practice focused primarily on e-discovery issues in products liability litigation. While living in the Philadelphia area she was also active with numerous community organizations, including the Sapphire Fund and the William Way Community Center.
