Chuck Hinegardner’s practice areas include civil litigation and domestic relations. As a litigator, Chuck has tried and handled numerous types of cases including contract and coverage disputes, motor vehicle personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, trade secrets, non-compete agreements, construction claims and product liability. He takes a proactive approach to handling litigation matters, working closely with clients to develop a strategy for reaching the desired outcome.
Chuck has handled numerous divorce and dissolution matters. He has been appointed Guardian Ad Litem by courts in dependency and neglect matters. He is very involved with counseling his clients, discussing likely results and ensuring that the client’s interests are protected and represented.
Recent Results:
In an involved and lengthy construction matter, Chuck and his client obtained a verdict of $597,066.27, which included $100,000 of punitive damages for a fraud claim.
In a recent personal injury jury trial, Chuck’s client was awarded $129,676.61.
He and his client received a very favorable decision from a Family Law Court after an emotional two day custody trial.
He and his client received a favorable decision from a Family Law Court in a matter involving tracing pre-marital money through two homes. His client was able to retain that pre-marital money in the current marital residence which she was also granted exclusive use of.
Chuck obtained a successful decision from the Court of Appeals defending a client in a trip and fall personal injury matter.
He also received a dismissal for the same client on statute of limitations grounds in another case.
