Andrew Jackson Higgins serves as Of Counsel to the firm. Judge Higgins was born in Platte City, Missouri, June 21, 1921, and was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1948, and to the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri in 1956. His education includes an A.B. degree from Central College in 1943 and LL.B. degree from Washington University in 1948. His credentials include Delta Theta Phi; Author of numerous Opinions from the Missouri Supreme Court, 1964-1991; Prosecuting Attorney of Platte County, 1951-1957; Mayor of Platte City, 1958-1960; Circuit Judge, Missouri, 1960-1964; Commissioner, Missouri Supreme Court, and Chief Justice of the Missouri Supreme Court, 1985-1987. He is a member of the Cole County and American Bar Associations and The Missouri Bar. Recipient of the Washington University Distinguished Alumnus Award for 2007.
