Mr. Higa attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He then attended Whittier Law School and graduated cum laude in 2008. Mr. Higa volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County prior to being hired by Seki, Nishimura & Watase, LLP. During his time at Seki, Nishimura & Watase, LLP, Mr. Higa participated in various civil litigation matters including representation of plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits and defendants in premise liability, personal injury and civil rights violation lawsuits.
Mr. Higa became an associate attorney with Brown, Bonn & Friedman, LLP in 2010 and has participated in various civil litigation matters including personal injury, multi party complex construction litigation and premises liability. His experience includes law and motion practice, drafting contracts, all aspects of discovery, expert depositions, numerous mediations and settlement conferences, arbitrations and trials.
