Jeff has fourteen years' experience in the practice of law. Before joining Stueve Siegel Hanson in 2012, Jeff practiced law at the The Henning Law Firm. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas H. Newton, Missouri Court of Appeals. Additionally, Jeff practiced law for several years with Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP in Kansas City, where he focused on complex products liability actions in state and federal courts across the United States. As a practicing attorney, Jeff has served as court-appointed counsel in a federal civil rights action; lectured at continuing legal education programs; drafted supplements to the Missouri Civil Procedure Deskbook; written articles for legal publications; and taught classes on federal jurisdiction.
Jeff is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. Jeff is admitted to practice before the state courts of Kansas and Missouri and the U.S. District Courts for the Western District of Missouri and the District of Kansas.
Jeff received his his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he graduated with distinction. He was a member of the Law Review and earned 16 CALI awards for academic excellence. Jeff is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
