Tim Heverin's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, licensing, and counseling. He has represented clients in patent infringement lawsuits and ITC actions involving diverse technologies, including semiconductors, chip architecture and logic, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemical processing, information theory and coding, internet commerce and search, databases, and wireless communication.

Tim has extensive experience litigating patent cases and related regulatory issues under the Hatch-Waxman Act, which regulates the intellectual property rights of pioneer and generic pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Prior to attending law school, Tim attended Naval Nuclear Power School and worked as a nuclear plant engineer for the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. Tim serves as the hiring partner for the Chicago Office.
