A native of Lebanon, Pennsylvania, Loren A. Schrum completed his preparatory education at Brown University, graduating with a B.A. degree in 1975. He continued his studies at Villanova University School of Law and received his J.D. degree in 1978. Mr. Schrum was granted admission to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1978 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Schrum began his legal career serving as Law Clerk to the Honorable G. Thomas Gates, President Judge, in the Lebanon County Court of Common Pleas. He joined this law firm in 1978.
His professional affiliations include membership in the Lebanon County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, where he is a member of the Civil Litigation and Family Law sections; the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formerly the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association), where he is a member of the Automobile Law section; and the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), where he is a member of the motor Vehicle Collision, Highway and Premises Liability section.
Mr. Schrum contributes his experience to the firm in the fields of Personal Injury Law, Family Law, General Litigation and Real Estate Law and Litigation. He is also a licensed title insurance agent and is regularly involved in real estate transfers, conveyances, and financing.
He was the first Lebanon County lawyer admitted to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a national organization for lawyers who have won million dollar verdicts and settlements.
Mr. Schrum was named to Philadelphia Magazine's Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, the Ultimate Guide to the Best Attorneys in Pennsylvania, in 2004 and 2006. Mr. Schrum was selected by his fellow attorneys in the category of Plaintiff's Personal Injury work.
