Stein M. Helmrich is a member of the Civil Litigation Group at Gordon, Muir & Foley LLP. Stein joined the firm in 2013.

Prior to joining Gordon, Muir & Foley Stein served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Grant H. Miller on the Complex Litigation Docket in Hartford Superior Court. As Complex Litigation Clerk, Attorney Helmrich worked on matters concerning complex business transactions, medical-malpractice, anti-trust, environmental and land-use, insurance coverage, administrative regulations and constitutional issues.

At UConn Law School Stein was an active participant in the Asylum & Human Rights Clinic, successfully arguing for a client's grant of asylum.

Stein was raised in Guilford, Connecticut. He and his wife currently reside in West Hartford, Connecticut.
