Tammy Schroeder joined Knudsen Berkheimer in August 2001. Tammy grew up in Arapahoe, Nebraska. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where she became a member of Sigma Tau Delta, an English Honorary. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1991. In 1998, Tammy returned to Nebraska Wesleyan to pursue a second major for her degree in paralegal studies. She completed her degree in May 2002.
Prior to joining Knudsen Berkheimer, Tammy spent ten years working in contract food service at colleges and corporations, including General Mills and Doane College. Tammy's experience includes management, personnel, and bookkeeping. Tammy also spent two years working for an accounting firm in Lincoln, Nebraska assisting with the preparation of financial statements and processing tax returns. Tammy's experience helps her in organizational skills and time management when working on a case and preparing it for trial.
Since joining Knudsen Berkheimer, Tammy has provided litigation support for cases involving railroad injuries (FELA), personal injuries, employment law, discrimination, and family law. Tammy's experiences include reviewing, summarizing and maintaining medical records and financial records; drafting and answering discovery; preparing statements for legal proceedings; as well as obtaining records from various sources in order to best aid the attorneys in preparing cases. Tammy is also currently working with estate and probate matters.
Tammy currently lives in Crete, Nebraska, and enjoys spending time camping, reading and playing sand volleyball.
