Jolene D. Schneider is an attorney-shareholder with Peterson, Berk & Cross, S.C., Appleton and Green Bay, where her practice is limited to divorce and family law. Ms. Schneider graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and member of the Moot Court board. Since 2008, Ms. Schneider has been a member of the faculty of the Wisconsin Judicial College, as a member of the panel instructing new judges on child support and maintenance. Ms. Schneider is experienced in a variety of dispute resolution processes, having been a member of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin since its inception. Throughout her career, Ms. Schneider has litigated cases in federal court and at all levels of Wisconsin state courts, successfully arguing twice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 2004. She has presented at continuing legal education seminars on family law and a variety of litigation topics, and her written work has been published in the The Verdict and the Wisconsin Lawyer magazines.
