Craig R. Heeren is a senior associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Business Trial Group. He first joined the firm in 2008, and returned to the firm in 2010 after a judicial clerkship.
Practice and Experience
Mr. Heeren has a general litigation practice, with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation, in both state and federal court. He has also been involved in appellate litigation, as well as criminal investigations conducted by the US Attorney's Office and the SEC. In 2009, Mr. Heeren clerked for the Honorable Harold Baer, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Heeren was a summer associate for WilmerHale in 2007. Prior to law school, he was a government, history and economics teacher at Compton and Dominguez High Schools in Compton, Calif., and is a Teach for America alumnus.
