Nicole has practiced law since 2001 and has a wealth of experience helping her clients obtain positive results in a variety of legal issues.  She thrives in assisting and guiding her clients to resolve conflicts efficiently to achieve the best results.   

Nicole began her career helping clients obtain Social Security Disability benefits.  She has tackled voluminous cases at both the Hearing and the Appeals Council levels.  Her work at both of these levels has resulted in many positive outcomes for her clients.  Nicole works to ensure that her clients receive the benefits to which they are entitled.     

Since joining Helzer Cromar & Schneider in 2009, Nicole has continued to help clients with Social Security Disability claims as well as many other legal issues.  Nicole has vast experience in handling family law cases.  Nicole has represented numerous clients in family law matters with complicated and contentious issues such as: personal and real property disputes; spousal support issues; contested custody; and parenting time issues.  She can navigate her clients through this daunting process whether the case is settled early, or continues through depositions and trial.  Nicole also has experience dealing with other kinds of family law cases such as those relating to grandparents’ rights, paternity proceedings, premarital agreements and cases involving the Department of Human Services. 

Nicole is also skilled in the areas of general business law, criminal misdemeanors, as well as estate planning and administration.
