Eric M. Hayhurst - A native of northern West Virginia, Eric Hayhurst is a two-time graduate of West Virginia University. Mr. Hayhurst earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Eberly College of Arts & Sciences at West Virginia University in 2005.
Mr. Hayhurst received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2009, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Hayhurst also earned awards for his academic excellence in the classroom with three CALI awards (highest grade) in Legal Profession (research and writing), Energy Law and Administrative Law. Mr. Hayhurst graduated in the Top 10% of his law school class.
Mr. Hayhurst focuses his practice on complex civil litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, workplace injury, product liability and coal related litigation, among others. Mr. Hayhurst is a member of the West Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice law in all State and Federal courts in West Virginia. Mr. Hayhurst is also a member of the West Virginia Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
