Mark Schaffner received his law degree from the University of Iowa in 1977. Mark practiced law in Iowa until 1983, where he served as managing attorney of a regional legal assistance organization. In 1983 he moved his practice to Chicago. Since then, he has continuously represented injured persons in the Courts of Iowa, Illinois and Indiana, aggressively seeking to protect their rights and ensure they receive full and just compensation. He is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association and the Workers Injury Litigation Group.
Mark is actively involved in giving back to the community. He volunteers to deliver meals to homebound disabled patients and speaks to numerous community, union and education groups to educate them on their rights.
Mark was born and raised in a small Midwest community and developed the same hard work ethics as his clients. It is this background that has led him to a strong sense of family, community and justice and his belief that the injured, disabled and less fortunate deserve aggressive legal representation.
