Ms. Hart is a litigator whose practice emphasizes family law, civil disputes, employment related matters and appellate practice. Ms. Hart served as a member of the 2011 Oregon Child Support Guidelines Advisory Committee and of the Guidelines Calculator Design Workgroup, providing the firm with an in-depth understanding of the upcoming changes to child support rules and legislation. In December of 2012, Ms. Hart was appointed to a three-year term on the Statewide Family Law Advisory Committee by Chief Justice Balmer of the Oregon Supreme Court.
Prior to her law career Ms. Hart specialized in human resources, finance, and small business management and consulting for 14 years, primarily in the field of commercial construction. Before joining the firm in the summer of 2006, Ms. Hart worked for a law firm in Newport, Oregon, handling domestic relations, personal injury and employment matters.
An avid automotive enthusiast, Ms. Hart is an active member of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) and has worked with the SEMA Action Network regarding proposed changes to automotive legislation in Oregon since 1999. Ms. Hart has been authorized by the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles to certify antique and special interest vehicles on its behalf since 1995.
