Barry Satine concentrates his litigation and arbitration practice on disputes relating to patent and software licensing, intellectual property agreements, and trade secret protection. He represents and counsels clients on contract interpretation and obligations, confidentiality restrictions, breach, waiver, expiration, termination, royalty audits, and damages.
Barry has appeared in federal and state courts and before domestic and international arbitral tribunals on behalf of clients including Air Products and Chemicals, Daiichi Sankyo, Herbalife, Hewitt Associates, IBM, McNeil Consumer Products, Motorola, Myriad Genetics, NASDAQ, Research In Motion, Schott AG, Texas Instruments, and Xilinx.
Barry is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (where he has served as chairman of the Litigation Committee, as a member of the Council on Judicial Administration, and as a member of the In-house Counsel/Outside Litigation Counsel Group) and the New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
