Bryan Harris earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University in 1983. After teaching school and working in the medical field for two years, he entered law school and graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1988. After being licensed in 1989, he started his litigation career at a defense firm concentrating on product liability cases, representing numerous international product manufacturing companies. After five years, he took his knowledge and experience and began to represent injured plaintiffs. He partnered with various lawyers handling product liability cases, including Mikal Watts in 1997 to establish the firm of Harris & Watts, P.C. Since that partnership, Mr. Harris has represented hundreds clients in lawsuits involving auto and tire product liability, oilfield explosions, workplace injury, tractor-trailer negligence, hit and run liability, commercial and business law disputes, and numerous others. One of his many notable verdicts involved a Duval County, Texas jury finding the Ford F-150 door latch and occupant protection system defective and awarding one of the biggest automotive product-liability judgments on record to the families who lost loved ones in that rollover collision.
Mr. Harris and Mr. Liles were partners in 2001 and have worked together since on cases representing injured victims against those responsible for their injuries. In 2010, Mr. Harris and Mr. Liles formed Liles Harris LLP.
Mr. Harris is licensed to practice in the State of Texas, and before United States District Courts in the Southern, Eastern, Western and Northern Districts of Texas. He has handled cases throughout the United States and Mexico and been admitted to practice in courts throughout in the United States in joint venturing cases with local lawyers to represent clients nationwide.
