Ms. Harrelson is an associate in the Regulatory and Government Affairs Department, and a member of the Defense and National Security Practice Group. She joined the firm in 2010.
Practice
Ms. Harrelson’s practice focuses on issues affecting educational institutions and educational and publishing companies. She counsels clients on legislative, regulatory compliance and government contract-related issues. She also advises clients in the defense and technology industries.
During law school, Ms. Harrelson served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul W. Grimm, Chief Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Ms. Harrelson also provided research assistance to Professor Donald Gifford on negotiation and product liability issues. As a member of the Reparations, Reconciliation and Restorative Justice LTP at the University of Maryland School of Law, she assisted Holocaust survivors file claims for reparations with the German government.

Ms. Harrelson is a member of the District of Columbia Women’s Bar Association.
