Mr. Hanson has experience in large-scale, complex patent litigation in a variety of areas including computer architecture, networking and wireless communications, data compression and storage, pharmaceutical compounds and delivery systems and medical imaging equipment. He also has experience in patent prosecution and drafting legal opinions concerning patent infringement and validity. Mr. Hanson is a graduate of Columbia Law School and earned his M.S.E. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. in Physics from Harvard College. Prior to joining the Firm, he practiced at Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler LLP. Mr. Hanson is registered to practice before the United States Patent Bar.
