VINCENT J. HANDAL, JR., who currently heads the Firm's Florida office, received his Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) from Fordham University in 1984, and his Juris Doctor from Fordham University's School of Law in 1987. Vincent received a Master of Laws degree in Taxation from New York University's School of Law in 1991. He is admitted to practice in New York and Florida.
As head of the Firm's Estate Planning and Wealth Protection Department, Vincent has expertise in all traditional estate planning areas, including estate and gift tax planning on the federal and state levels, and in such evolving areas as generation-skipping transfer tax planning, family business succession, estate valuation freezes, and planning for the elderly and those persons with special needs.
Vincent has extensive experience in drafting and implementing a wide variety of estate planning vehicles. He has considerable knowledge of various estate, gift and income tax issues. Vincent also has extensive probate experience and handles all aspects of trust and estate administration.
He frequently conducts estate planning seminars for clients and was extensively interviewed for and quoted in a recent article on estate planning in Smart Money Magazine.
