Matt joined Davis, Bucco & Ardizzi in 2011 and currently concentrates his practice in construction law and commercial litigation. He is an experienced attorney who has practiced since 2006 and has litigated all types of civil disputes in multiple courts and counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Matt graduated from Gettysburg College with a bachelor of arts in Environmental Studies in 2001 and a minor in Economics. In 2006, he graduated from Widener University School of Law. During law school, Matt served as a staff editor of the Widener Law Review and worked in the Transportation, Construction and Condemnation section of the Office of Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, in addition to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Following graduation, Matt worked for a large litigation firm in Philadelphia where he litigated cases in multiple jurisdictions involving construction defects and safety, products liability, and catastrophic loss. Immediately prior to joining Davis, Bucco & Ardizzi, Matt worked for a prominent construction law firm representing contractors, architects and engineers in design defect cases. Throughout his career, he has mediated, arbitrated, and tried numerous cases resulting in favorable settlements and verdicts. In addition to construction and commercial law, Matt has experience handling employment issues, contract disputes and all matters pertaining to small businesses.
Matt is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state courts, as well as the U.S. Eastern District of Pennsylvania, U.S Middle District of Pennsylvania, U.S. Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District of New Jersey. He is an active member of both the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations.
Matt is a member of the Legal Rights & Strategies Committee and the Young Professionals Section of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., a construction industry organization. Matt is also an active member of local organizations, including the Mainline Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Forge Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
