Hamrick, A. Raymond

Brianne H. Ryer, Esq., received her Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law, with clinical work in mediation. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and Psychology from Syracuse University.

Having passed the New York State Bar in 2011, Brianne has a strong background in legal mediation on behalf of the plaintiff. In her role as a Mediation Convener in the New York State Division of Human Rights lower Manhattan office, Brianne second-seated Prof. Beryl Blaustone in State and Federal Discrimination Claim mediations as a clinical intern. She contacted parties in discrimination complaints to discuss the option of mediation, and worked with the Division of Human Rights to schedule, and prepare documentation for, mediations.

Most recently, she held the position of Law Graduate Intern at The Children's Law Center, Bronx, NY. Previously, she was the Court and Community Mediator at Main Street Legal Services, in Flushing, NY. Also at Main Street Legal Services, she was a Clinical Teaching Assistant. Brianne also worked as a Legal Assistant at Divorce Lab: Law & Mediation Offices of Teresa Ombres, Esq., and as a Legal Intern at the Domestic Violence/Family Law Unit at Queen's Legal Services.

In these positions, Brianne has established strong relationships with clients, fighting on their behalf to garner positive results. She has worked extensively with clients, acting as a liaison between clients and counsel, and addressing client concerns and questions regarding case progress. She is committed to human rights and sees her position of Associate at White, Ricotta and Marks, P.C., as a valuable opportunity to help an even broader range of clients find justice.
