Mitchell Hall's practice is devoted to commercial matters and litigation, including medical malpractice, labor and employment law, insurance defense, and school law. Mr. Hall has tried over 25 jury trials involving trucking, automobile, premises liability, employment and commercial claims. His employment practice includes representing companies in arbitrations, labor negotiations, and other administrative proceedings. He serves as panel counsel for numerous insurance companies.
Mr. Hall received his B.A. from Davidson College in 1987 and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1991. He is a member of the Order of the Coif and served as associate editor of the Kentucky Law Journal while at the University of Kentucky.
Mr. Hall is licensed to practice in Kentucky and Ohio. He is admitted to practice in federal courts for the eastern and western districts of Kentucky, the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. His memberships include the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, Kentucky Defense Counsel Board of Directors, Defense Research Institute, and the Kentucky School Board Attorneys' Association.
Mr. Hall is involved in a number of civic activities. He is an alumnus of Leadership Tri-State, a member of the Rotary Club, and serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way and the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center. He also coaches the Ashland Blazer High School Mock Trial Team.
