As a litigator, Jonathan has been an advocate for his clients throughout all phases of the litigation process. He has obtained successful verdicts and awards before judges, juries and arbitration panels. He has handled matters before the courts in Bucks, Delaware, Carbon, Chester, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania, as well as in the Counties of Warren and Sussex in New Jersey. In addition to being licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Jonathan is admitted to practice in Federal Court in the Eastern District and before the United States Supreme Court.
In 2006, for his accomplishments in representing victims of negligence, Jonathan was recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as a "Pennsylvania SuperLawyer Rising Star". In 2011, he was named a "SuperLawyer" by Thomson Reuters and the publishers of Philadelphia Magazine. Jonathan is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as the Bar Associations in Bucks and Monroe Counties. He is also a member of the "Million Dollar Advocates Forum", a distinction reserved for less than 1% of the attorneys in the United States.
In addition to his achievements as a litigator, Jonathan has conducted public seminars on proper estate planning and wealth management. Within the local community, Jonathan has served and continues to serve on the boards of various non-profit organizations. Additionally, he has been a member of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges for the past 10 years.
Jonathan has been a member of the firm since 1993 and a shareholder since 1998. Prior to joining the firm in 1993, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Peter J. O'Brien of Monroe County. Jonathan received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1992 and his Bachelors degree in 1989 from Eastern Nazarene College.
