Christopher A. Hall received his undergraduate degree in English from the University of Tennessee in 1979. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis in 1982 and his Masters in Taxation from the University of Florida in 1983. Mr. Hall practiced law in St. Louis for two years and he has practiced in Knoxville since 1985. Mr. Hall served the Tennessee Supreme Court as a Commissioner of the Tennessee Lawyer Assistance Program for nine years and as its Chairman for three years. Mr. Hall has worked extensively with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility in connection with attorneys with licensure issues, and he serves as a monitor for attorneys who are obligated under monitoring agreements with the Tennessee Lawyer Assistance Program. Mr. Hall represents health care professionals, businesses, farms, real estate developers, and entrepreneurs. He has lectured for many years at continuing legal educations seminars regarding Federal and state taxation, wealth transfer, partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies. As an avocation, Mr. Hall and his wife own a farm, where they raise beef cattle. He has previously served as a Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Knoxville.
