Hallissy, Erin O.

Erin joined Daniels, Fine, Israel & Schonbuch, LLP as a law clerk in 1993. Erin's practice predominantly focuses upon insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, as well as appellate matters. The majority of her currently pending cases involve 1st party property and casualty disputes, construction defect coverage, SIU/fraud claims, Business and Professions Code section 17200 actions, and equitable contribution/subrogation actions between carriers. Erin predominately represents insurance companies, but she also has a background in insurance defense matters representing insureds. Erin has successfully written and argued numerous appeals including Bouton v. USAA Casualty Insurance Company (2008) 43 Cal.4th 1190 which was favorablly decided by the California Supreme Court in 2008. Erin was also selected to Super Lawyers Southern California Rising Stars in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Erin is married and the mother of son, Jimmy, and daughter, Riley.
